Throughout my 28 years of life, I’ve come to understand that everyone has a purpose. Every job, every person, has a reason for existing and the ability to make a difference. We all have a unique place in this world, destined to create positive impacts in our own ways. Personally, I’ve realized that my purpose is to challenge societal norms and perceptions surrounding autism and other differences, advocating for greater acceptance and understanding. I aim to showcase my purpose through various mediums, living out my advocacy 24/7.
Whether I’m creating art, performing spoken word poetry, writing blogs or stories, or simply being a devoted wife, cat mom, preschool teacher, and graduate student, I strive to achieve all my dreams and goals with self-control, discipline, dedication, and the willingness to make sacrifices. Life presents countless obstacles and hardships, but it’s through overcoming struggles that we grow into resilient leaders.
